Course Description
Don’t just play the game, make it! This stimulating video game camp introduces younger students to the awesome world of video game creation. This year we’ll be utilizing the powerful Clickteam Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer. This program is user-friendly, but has enhanced features that will challenge returning students. This kids’ summer camp will teach the basic principles behind making arcade, platform and adventure games. Students will take home a copy of their final project to play at home. No tokens required!
New! We’ve rebuilt our curriculum from the ground up. Additionally, students will use the full version of Clickteam Multimedia Fusion Developer 2. The graphical interface makes the game design as easy as drag and drop. In this unique video game camp for kids, we supply the dragons, ninjas, backgrounds, power-ups, and other objects for your game. Get creative and design your own objects for a truly unique video game. Advanced students will add sound and music to enhance game play.
This junior kids camp also includes Techtivities like Guitar Hero III™, Wowwee Robotics™ Roboquad™ activities, Dance-Dance-Revolution™ and supervised outside play—nurturing a balanced summer camp experience.

This summer children’s camp is perfect for active and imaginative younger students wanting to explore game-making. Using a drag and drop interface, students will catch on easily with this fun, creative, hands-on course. If you are just beginning to discover the power of technology, this course is a great choice. This summer video game camp for kids is perfect for both new and returning campers. With our brand new curriculum, students will find the right challenge.

How We Teach
iD Tech Camps students receive the highest caliber technology education any summer camp has to offer! Students in this summer camp for kids will be able to move along faster and more independently, or collaborate utilizing our customized lessons—while still receiving our gold standard 1-on-1 instruction (average 6 students per staff). Using the latest in hardware and software, our all-adult staff works hands-on with each student from project theory to completion (you won’t find counselors-in-training at iD). Repeating this course over several weeks?
Students ages 7-10 will often repeat this summer computer camp course over several weeks. Our new curriculum is designed to allow the students move along at their own pace with customized lessons for a fun and appropriate challenge. Below is an example of how your student’s skill level may increase if they take this course for multiple weeks.
