Description:
If game graphics can be considered a red Ferrari flying down the freeway, then game programming is certainly the powerful engine under the hood. In this video game development course focusing on scripting and programming, you値l be the engine mechanic, turning bolts and running diagnostics. In this video game camp, you値l learn the fundamentals of character/object interaction, level design, and UI editor using Unreal® Engine. Over the course of two weeks, you値l progress from the intuitive concepts of a visual scripting system to an introduction to a gameplay scripting language similar to a high-level Java-like object-oriented programming language.

You値l head home with considerable new skills in underlying game mechanics, and scripting that has your fingerprints all over it. You値l never look at games the same way again!

Game Development Instruction
The curriculum in this video game scripting course has been specially designed to give you the tools to leave your mark on the game development industry by introducing the essentials of game scripting and mechanics. With an emphasis on group breakout sessions and commercial game design, all students will learn at their own pace and will get plenty of one-on-one instruction. Students who don稚 have previous experience with scripting or programming will be brought up to speed. Those who have advanced scripting skills will take their ability to the next level and discover the raw power of programming.

The program objective is to give you a solid foundation in scripting, level design and game mechanics using the rich, pre-built environment of a major commercial video game. You値l apply what you致e learned and take home a fully modified game of your own creation.
