New Software - Autodesk® Maya |

3D Modeling Teen Camp: Course Description
Learn the basics of 3D modeling using Autodesk Maya. Maya is the premier 3D Modeling, animation, effects and rendering software package. Used by design powerhouses like Industrial Light and Magic®, WETA Workshops® and Epic Games®, students at iD Tech Camps will learn to model like the pros with this powerful application.
This unique summer computer camp course will take you through the basics of 3D modeling using a host of techniques including, but not limited to, primitives, polygons, lighting and nurbs (a focus will be applied to one technique over others). Beginning and advanced learners will create awesome models, unique realistic textures, and learn the basics of animation. Students will then render their own animated movies to showcase their amazing new creations.

iD Tech Camps is an industry leader in offering various technology courses, including courses and activities revolving around gaming. Some of our gaming curriculum is based on the most commercially successful gaming titles and gaming engines. In order to offer the most cutting edge experience for our campers, we have adopted the policy of allowing the use of some select games rated "T" for Teen and “M” for Mature to be used as part of our curriculum in a supervised environment. While we take our corporate responsibility and iD family values very seriously, we cannot guarantee that younger students will avoid complete contact with these games.
